In honour of International Museum Day, I will take a Lufthansa flight to Germany and visit a museum there, then get on another flight to Paris, or maybe I should just buy a train ticket around continental Europe and visit all the museums…yeah, in my dreams.
Anyway, HAPPY Museum Day! Here’s a kid’s drawing of what an art “musseme” looks like. That’s a big door. Lots of windows too. Has that kid ever heard of conservation?
How scary, the now you isn’t the old you.

Men Can Stop Rape’s new College Bystander Intervention campaign.
Actual good anti rape campaign posters! They don’t shame victims, they ask people to examine their own actions and inactions and protect their friends. And not in a gross excuse for chivalry either, just as people keeping people safe.
I like this.
Yep I agree. I also like how it’s not tying a man taking action around rape to some imaginary alpha male/hypermasculine sort of thing. Like a real man would do such and such.
Hey look! It’s an anti-rape campaign based on being a decent human being! In all seriousness, this is marvelous. I bolded the above for emphasis.

You should never have to write out a character description in your foreword. Want to prove you’re a good writer? Skip that. The reader should get to know each character through out the story, this is what pulls the reader in, this is how you get the reader involved.
A story is not a dating site….
You must have been really special to me. I hold everything in. I try not to let people see the weak side of me or they will just take advantage of it. But some will actually come up to me and try to comfort me but I don’t want comfort. I just want someone to care about me. I rarely cry and when I do, it must have been really serious.
